UPDATE (2:22 p.m.): Everything is status quo on the Utley front. He seems ready to proceed to more intense workouts in a couple months.
GM Ruben Amaro has said, however, that the Phillies have agreed on a two-year deal with Jamie Moyer. Two years guaranteed is a big risk for the old man, but they got their deal done.
Additionally, when asked about adding a utility infielder, Amaro made exclusive mention of Eric Bruntlett – who was recently re-signed to a one-year deal – and prospect Jason Donald. It appears Donald will be the second utility stopgap entering the season.
Amaro confirmed a deal with Chan Ho Park, pending a physical.

Just read that Chase Utley will be holding a press conference for members of the media Monday afternoon, almost assuredly to discuss progress on his rehab from hip surgery.
Let’s hope the news is good.
UPDATE: The conference will be held at 2 p.m. (thanks to reader Meg)
